Namekagon River Canoe Tour

--> Paddle by day and camp by night along the majestic Namekagon River. Your students will experience the subtle rhythm of canoe-camping while sharing a powerful week discovering who they are in God’s creation. Each evening is spent around a crackling campfire sharing stories of the day and stories of Jesus.
Brule River Canoe Tour
SH, A / 3-6 days / 10-18 participants
Canoe on one of the most scenic, historic, and exciting whitewater rivers in the Midwest. Your students will learn the skills necessary to navigate challenging rapids while exploring the challenge of God’s call on their lives. Your students will return home with newly acquired paddling skills and a new-found excitement for their relationship with God.
Squaw Bay Sea Caves Tour

-->Get the feel of paddling a sea kayak while experiencing the majesty of Lake Superior. The Squaw Bay Sea Caves Tour takes you and your students along the sandy south shore of Superior, beneath steep cliffs, and into dark, water-worn sea caves. Beginners are welcome!
Sand Island Tour

--> This overnight tour will give you and your students the chance to truly experience the power of Lake Superior. After learning some basic paddling strokes and boat skills, you and your students will make a crossing to Sand Island where a beautiful beach, hiking trails and a lighthouse await your exploration. After spending the night on the Island, you will paddle around the island, taking time to experience some incredible sea caves and then make the crossing back to the mainland.
Apostle Islands Tour

During this multi-day tour of the inner islands of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, your group will gain the skills and confidence to handle the mighty waters of Lake Superior. After receiving a full dose of instruction, your group will head off to the islands to experience sea caves, beautiful sand beaches, lighthouses and abandoned farmhouses. Hiking trails are found on many of the islands. Evenings are spent in Bible studies that help participants make the connection between their experiences of the day and their everyday Christian lives. This is CrossWoods’ most challenging sea kayak excursion.North Country Backpacking Trek

Your students will have a real sense of accomplishment after completing this 40 mile hike through the wilds of Northern Wisconsin. Each afternoon, your students will learn new wilderness survival skills, and each evening is filled with laughter, story-telling, meaningful conversation and Christian fellowship.
Superior Backpacking and Climbing Trek
SH, A / 6 days / 8-15 participants
This is the ultimate Midwest adventure! The Superior Hiking Trail winds through thick forests, towering waterfalls, and offers some incredible views of Lake Superior. A full day of rock climbing at Carlton Peak tops off this trek. This experience is sure to challenge your students physically as well as spiritually.
